Sean’s Outpost, one of the most visible charities in the Bitcoin space, was the recent victim of what appears to be sabotage.
The organization posted on their Twitter account the details of their discovery:
SABOTAGE AT SATOSHI FOREST. Someone dug up the waterline to the camp, deliberately cut it, and then reburied it. I have no words #bitcoin

This unfortunate news comes after a high point for Sean’s Outpost, as founder Jason King just recently completed a cross-country fundraising run, starting in Florida and ending in California. They also recently announced they had fed over 100,000 meals to Pensacola’s homeless.
So far, no evidence has arisen as to who the culprit may have been.
Satoshi Forest is a nine-acre piece of land set up by Sean’s Outpost as a “homeless sanctuary” in response to the city of Pensacola’s ordinance which prohibited sleeping outside in a public area, effectively criminalizing homelessness.
