The infrastructure behind Potcoin has been building steadily.
They’ve launched some of their own ATMs in Colorado, which has been building a strong marijuana-related culture after the state legalized marijuana in 2012. They also have their own crowdfunding platform, Potfunder.
Now, a new service in relation to Potcoin has emerged, which will allow users to get their hands on Potcoin much more easily.
Local Pot
Local Pot is a platform based on Local Bitcoins, a site which allows for users to meet with each other and exchange Bitcoin for local currency directly.
Local Pot does the same thing, but for Potcoin.
The platform has the identical look and feel of Local Bitcoins, but allows users to buy and sell Potcoins.
Potcoin Grows Slowly
Like its namesake might suggest, the Potcoin community is growing steadily, but without the rapid innovation seen in other spheres like Blackcoin.
Regardless, they have built a strong foothold for themselves within Colorado and Washington, where it calls itself “the official digital currency for the legal cannabis industry”
