The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin has finally been released, after numerous delays.
The documentary film was screened at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, but has experienced a number of delays in its release. It’s now available in a wide range of distribution platforms though, opening it up to the world.
The film follows the story of Dan Mross and his brother, film director Nicholas Mross. Dan is a bitcoiner, and the film revolves around his interest in Bitcoin, mining, and digital economies. It features interviews with well-known figures in the Bitcoin world, including Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Roger Ver, former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpeles, former BitInstant CEO Charlie Shrem, Bitcoin Foundation Chief Scientist Gavin Andresen, and even FinCEN director Jenniver Shasky Calvery.

Those interested in the film can find a copy of it on Vimeo and iTunes. It’s also available on DVD and Blu-ray for those who want to do things the old fashioned way through their website, along with some other swag like t-shirts, posters, and even a foam Bitcoin fist. And of course, the film is available for purchase with Bitcoin.
